Drifters

Jeffers’ first collection of short stories provides something for every taste. Shady Humor, Magical Realism, Sword and Sorcery, Intergalactic Futurism, Hard-Boiled Detective Noir, Buccaneer Surrealism, Dystopic Near Future, plus half a dozen literary endeavors for those preferring more mainstream tales. Half the stories were originally published by literary magazines or in anthologies. Available now in print at The Birch Store (specify if you want it signed) and soon in print and digitally at most book outlets.

The author’s proof of Gregory Jeffers’ new collection, “Dusk: More Stories”, is now available in print at The Birch Store. Mingled with ten or so “literary” stories are Jeffers’ signature genre-blending and genre-bending ditties. Sci-fi, crime, retro-futurism, horror, fantasy, magical realism, fabulist, and more, most with a strong peppering of dark humor. Three international contest winners and four shortlisted stories are in the mix. Outstanding reads and just in time.

“…a rare gift for observing what others overlook. Each word is weighed.” Henshaw Press

“…spectacularly well written.” The Writer Magazine

Available in print and digitally at e-retailors in April 2023. Signed print copies available now from the Birch Store.
